Siôn Jones, CFA, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Equitix
Siôn joined Equitix in July 2010 and manages the portfolio of investments owned by the funds which are managed by Equitix. Siôn is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and sits on the Investment Committees for all of the Equitix Fund’s acquisitions. He is responsible for maximising asset performance and optimising corporate cash flows in the assets owned by the funds managed by EIML with the aim of enhancing the current investor returns. Siôn is active in managing the portfolio of assets and sits on a number of project company boards including Greater Gabbard, Gwynt-y-Mor, Thanet and Humber OFTOs.
Prior to joining Equitix, Siôn was a partner at King Sturge where he was responsible for asset and project company management. Siôn established the Corporate Finance division of King Sturge with responsibility for creating institutional and private equity real estate investment vehicles. Siôn has also worked for Arthur Andersen in the Specialist Finance Group, and for Standard and Poor’s in the Fund Research department. Siôn has a BSc Honours in Chemistry from the University of Southampton. He is a CFA charterholder and holds an Investment Management Certificate and a Certificate in Securities from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
