Phil joined HSBC in June 2006 and has 15 years’ of international experience in infrastructure and project finance. He has acted as advisor and arranger on numerous transactions across a multitude of sectors including transport, power, waste, renewables and social infrastructure
His recent experience includes acting as bond lead manager and advising on the structuring and distribution of infrastructure project bonds.
Phil has led the Bond teams on precedent setting transactions including the EIB’s PBCE pilot projects (Castor and Greater Gabbard), the M8 Scottish Roads PPP project, the Mersey Gateway Bridge PPP project and the Department for Educations Aggregator procurement.
Phil completed the CFA program in 2005 and holds a masters degree in Environmental Impact Assessment.
