Nicholas Ross, Director, Iona Capital
Nick is a Director of Iona Capital, setting up the Company with Mike Dunn in 2011.
Iona is a specialist investment manager investing in bio-energy infrastructure projects in the UK. Iona currently manages funds on behalf of institutional investors with capital committed by a number of local authority pension funds via three separate LP funds.
The Iona team combines investment and risk management skills with deep waste and renewable sector expertise and to date has invested in over 22 projects in the Bioenergy sector.
Prior to establishing Iona Nick held senior positions at Electra Partners, the private equity specialist from 1993 to 2010.
Nick has a degree in Economics from Nottingham University and was a member of the Institute of Investment Management and Research which was the predecessor of the Chartered Financial Association (CFA).
