Mel Zuydam, Chief Finance Officer, CH2M Europe

Mel is an Anglo Dutch CFO with both public and private sector experience in infrastructure services businesses. He has worked both client and SPV side in large scale transport PFI projects, developing innovative funding models, structures and solutions. He believes there is plenty of best practice to share in both directions with the European client side and supply chain, particularly around integrated economic infrastructure solutions, smart cities, and multi-modal transport models. He is also a strong supporter of leveraging the private investment appetite into the UK Infrastructure  demand, particularly at local and regional level – but ensuring the value for money is there for the taxpayer and the return is there for the investors.
