Bill Cotton, Executive Director, Environment & Economy, Bournemouth Borough Council
Bill is an experienced Local Government Officer having worked in the sector since 1990 in various regeneration roles in Leeds, Wandsworth, Bath, Swindon and Bournemouth.
His experience is broad based including Planning, Regeneration, Development, Culture, Tourism and Economic Development.
In Bournemouth, he leads all the place based services in the Unitary Authority. He has taken a particular interest in the Digital and Creative Sector in Bournemouth and Sponsors Bournemouth’s ‘Digital Challenge’ Programme which saw Bournemouth achieve Digital Council of the year in 2015.
He is also Chairman of the Bournemouth Development Company, a groundbreaking Local Asset Backed Vehicle in partnership with Morgan Sindall Investments Limited.
